With all that cnc machinery they can't make a rear sight?

More like they can't be bothered to or it will eat into their current production cycle.

Very poor service from all involved.

Dirk if you are not happy with the recoat job my offer still stands whenever you find yourself in durban.

Thank you very much for that! If it looks like last time, I'll definitely take you up on it when I go there again.

Hope it is delivered properly coated and blemish free. You're journey has been tortuous, hats off for staying the course.
    It may all end well.

Sucky part is I'm worse off than I was before. No new sights and a coating on the gun that I never wanted. There is no upside in this whole situation for me except for the lessons learned. But thank you, I'm also hoping for the best.

They couriered the gun today. They sent me some photos but the quality was terrible so I couldn't really make out much. Will have to wait and see what is what when it gets here.

When you receive the gun, just enjoy shooting it. Lesson under the belt.

That's exactly what I'll do, thank you. I did get it back this afternoon. Installed the old sights, without damaging anything I might add... So all is well.

When you looking down the slide at the front sight, you won't even see it. Shoot it and enjoy brother.
