They are extremely well organized and trained, and their influence stretches far and wide. It is estimated that the last few police commissioners were all crime syndicate commissioners as well. The current one obviously fits the bell. This begs the question, how deep have they penetrated the SAPS. Difficult to quantify at this stage, but we can be certain that a big percentage of the SAPS are indeed also syndicate members. That goes for all ranks.

Syndicates and gangs get trained in certain skills, that they specialize in. Once they have done their part, they can get promoted to higher levels and skills. The zama-zamas are are fairly low level, but this type of equipment shows that they are not at the bottom of the ladder. Obviously the car-jacking, CIT and farm murder guys are a few step higher.

It is not inconceivable that some day the syndicate members will outnuber the total of SAPS, SADF and private security officers combined. Think about that for a while...

It really doesn't take much for anyone to come across the border with arms.
Last Moz trip, neither the SA or Moz side even checked my logbook, let alone the vehicle (Too hot in the sun mos, better to sit on a old chair)

Leo prinsloo said the guys formed an extended line when shooting at him (trained)

Hell I just found out the casual next door is ex Zim defense force of 9 years, I'm sure if he gets hungry enough he has the means to sort himself out.

It's not so much down to syndicates (which their are) as much as it is down to ZERO ability on governments part to actually enforce and govern

It's not just a lack of ability. There is no will there either. What they do want to do is oppress any opposition to their gravy train.
