    Thanks everyone for the info. Once I get the spring and if it works for the missus I will give feedback here. If I can get her 1911 to recoil as little as my G21 with a reduced load and it keeps working like my G21 does...

    Feedback:

    I found a 10 pound and an 8 pound Eeman Tech spring at RHT.

    We settled on the 8 pound spring with the following load. 3.7 / 3.8 grains of Titegroup behind a 230 CMJ RN.
    Both the 10 and the 8 pound springs work perfectly, but the 8 pounder actualy feels like it recoils less. It is infact it is noticably less nippy. It feels like a mild 9mm. the wife loves it!
    And the load still makes 150+ factor.
