firearms valuation needed

Hi folks
A friend of mine is selling his firearms and rifle safe; your opinions as to the individual items' selling value would be greatly appreciated.
(Having trouble uploading pics as usual. Can whatsapp pics)

1) Mauser bolt action .22
2) Sako .308 with Bushnell scope
3) Beretta 12 ga. shotgun

4) Meatmaster 4 rifle safe

Would you please get some more information on the items?

1. R3500 (cheap) - R8000 (mint condition), usually around R5000 - R6000.

2. R8000 - R11 000 depending on model and condition, less if he wants to get rid of it.

3. This depends on the model and its condition.

4. Guesstimate: R1500 - R3500?

I do not know about the Beretta. Please have a look at Gunbroker which advertises in the space beneath, or Gunafrica, or at the results of the Classic Arms auctions. And I am sure that someone will give an answer before the end of day.

The Sako 579 should easily fetch R8000, but they are often advertised for somewhere around R11 000 or even more.

The Mauser price is spot on. Just to add, the model would also make a difference so try to get some pics or do a search on Google.

A300s are advertised for about R3500 to R4000. If it is a like new or mint I think it would add another R500 - R1000.
