    Default Zastava P10?

Does anybody have any info about that gun? Sellers in Cda and US are actually gloating about the lack of background and parroting some 70'sish mumbo jumbo pitch.

"The Zastava P10 10mm pistol is an upgrade of the Yugoslav Zastava M70, which in turn is an upgraded TT33 Tokarev."

Make of that what you want

    Impressive cartridge.

    Unimpressive pistol.

After seeing their TZ99, CZ99 and CZ999 (Sig P226-based) pistols, I would have thought they could come up with something better than a souped-up old Tokarev.

So it's basically a Browning 1900 with bad marketing :D. I was hoping for some insider's story about how a limited run was made for local Swat teams who gave it the thumb down leading to Zastava shamefully hiding the lot until Bob from accounting who never shot a gun decided to show initiative while his CEO was away.

Rumour has it that this was a project that got scrapped after it didn’t pass LE trials.

Apparently the already-produced guns were stored offsite, and when one of the accounting guys flagged the offsite storage expense with the FM, he kicked it up the line to the CFO. All of this, of course, while the CEO was on annual leave in the balkans somewhere.

Anyway. CFO thought he’d fix it all up, got marketing involved (which is usually a bad thing in the first place), and long story short, we got the P10.
