Three hijack suspects killed, three hijacked cars recovered and three guns seized - all without a shot being fired.
This was the outcome after three suspects died when they crashed during a chase with police outside Pretoria on Wednesday.
Police from the North Rand Flying Squad were on patrol on Olifantsfontein Road when the hijackers, driving from Clayville after a one-hour hijacking spree, swerved in front of them.
Alerted by Tracker, police gave chase, racing through early morning rush-hour traffic for about 10 minutes and reaching speeds of well over 230km/h.
The chase ended when
the driver of the BMW, hijacked in Midrand at the weekend, lost control and crashed.
The occupants were flung from the car. The body of one was found nearly 60m from the wreckage.
His accomplices, who died at the scene, were found lying beside the wreck, their guns near their bodies.Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2
