Refuse my appointment at DFO

Good day.

I have done my proficiency for a hand gun and wanted to make an appointment with our local DFO to hand in my application for firearm competency. Im married and my wife is overseas in the United States of America. The DFO refuses to make an appointment, becuase my wife is not present for an interview. I do have other referals added as well, but still refuses to help me, because my wife is not present. Has anybody experienced the same issues and what can I do in this matter?

Escalate as she dont have to present. See the station commander your dfo is having a brain fart

My DFO also wanted to see my wife in person. The other references were just phoned.

These DFOs making up requirements is bullshit. I gave all my references via written statements and that was fine

I've just handed in a written letter from my wife and they've never called or seen her. He is talking rubbish

What, Station Commander or the complaints address? Either way be persistent and just keep on till you get a result. Or another way of putting it, try to avoid a fight or confrontation but if you have to go in and fight to win.
