Re: Dog training collars
I have used training collars to great effect although my Retrievers are far more
sedentary than GSP`s.
My collars have three settings - audio, vibrate and shock. I have only ever used vibrate
with no problems whatsoever. I can set it from 0 - 100 but they are permanently set
on 50.

Re: Dog training collars
I have a set of Num axes dog training collars I am willing to part with. Two collars, one remote which works on both of them. Originally obtained from Classic Arms, Witbank.
I must just go and find it first....
Haven't used them in quite a while.

Re: Dog training collars
I had my Brit at Boavida and he is better off for it. In my opinion if you are struggling to spend time in the field with your dog it is certainly worth boarding the dogs at Boavida for training. Training 2 dogs at once might also be a bit troublesome, although perhaps not as much with tracking dogs.
