    Default Silencer for 308

    Hi

Compared to the rest Gunworx and Accurate Arms prices for silencers suite my budget better.

Anyone have any experience with any silencer/suppressor products offered by Gunworx or Accurate Arms?

    Any recommendations between the two?

Gunworx offers a reflex silencer and Accurate Arms is a standard.

Rifle will be used for occasional hunting.

    Regards

I've using the Warrior Silencer for a couple years with an external mussle break. It has reduced recoil and easy to clean. I thought that they were reasonably priced as well.

Did you get one with or without the muzzle break? I'm looking at the Whisper for my 308 but am not sure whether to include the muzzle break.

I got the whisper. The 308 has little recoil to start with and with the whisper I can see impact shots. I did not go with the muzzle break.

Thanks, was thinking along the same lines. What did it cost you?

I have a Silent Hunter on mine. Price is good, quality good, and it works. Also used for occasional hunting.

I have just got a 308 from my BIL, which has a Silent Hunter Reflex. It hasn’t had more than 70 rounds through it.

I think it’s too heavy for this specific 308 and completely throws off the balance. It’s my intention to sell it and change to something different.

    Would you be interested?
Looking for R2000 - I can send you pictures when Im back in town.

I went through this exercise earlier this year as the farm we hunted in May had a no silencer no hunt policy. Ended up getting the AimZonic Triton from OW. Was more expensive than the other options but was much lighter and only added 10cm to the length of my barrel. These 2 features was more important to me than recoil or sound reduction
