Well the other option could be that those insurgents in Cabo Delgado are willing to pay top infidel dollar for some ammo although the calibers don't make sense

who says a certain police service didnt stage this whole theft thing to replenish their own stock which clearly, from the last week's happenings, is non existent. And then just blame it on the loota's

That smacks of planning. Not sure there's that capability. Running round with hair on fire, check. Planning, not as much.

Definitely. But the narrative that around 10 tons of ammunition was somehow randomly targeted and ransacked by unorganised looters, whilst under SAPS guard, seems just as unlikely.

That narrative you couldn't sell me if you offered vendor finance. Like much else that's happened it has to have been done with, at the very least, inside information and more likely with direct involvement.

Johan Coertze who imported the ammunition, confirmed that the amount stolen is actually 1.5 million rounds. That is around 20 tons stacked high on top of other containers. This is beyond peculiar.

What the **** is going on in this country???

1.5 million rounds of ammo guarded by SAPS goes missing and the country just yawns. Cele says nothing. The government is silent.

Are we truly cooked and are just another banana republic now.

That ammo would be worth more than gold there now I bet.

I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to some right wing conspiracy narrative.
