Keep the scope and give your mate the rifle. Seriously, the Leupold LRP's are very nice

So I have decided to purchase the rifle. In great condition and comes with a few bits and pieces. My mate already has the scope on his rifle so can't buy that.

anyone possibly interested in a howa 1500 270 with synthetic stock. About 550 rounds through since Jan last year when I go the rifle. In the interest of full disclosure, the barrel is a thin barrel and I'm struggling with the thread for a silencer. The gunsmith I went to suggested we cut the barrel and rethread for a new silencer. Just testing the waters now as I'll only sell once my 243 license is approved.

Ive always been a handgunner , so my rifle knowledge / experience is limited

22 LR - cos i have one - works well on rabbits at close range with HV Hollow points
303 British - fine for bushveld distances - and its got 'heritage' if nothing else
TC Contender in 357 Mag ( launches a 200GR rifle bullet over 14gr S265 ( cos thats the only other in my possession )

I have shot BWB and Gemsbok ( using a 9.3 x 62 ) and would happily consider a rifle chambered for this
I have ask shot Kangaroo with a 243 with some Ozzie mates in WA - when they were still a democracy

ok ok im going back to my corner now - no need for chirps

I would take 3 of my rifles, they shoot straight all problems are of the past , they fit my body well - i have custom loaded ammo for all of them and they have all been tested thoroughly.
    - Besides one of them is a .270, all you need actually.
