I need a 9.3x62 in my life at some point to complete my list, since I'm all logic-ed out.

Gert, have you actually hunted with the 6.5x68?

I would think it needs a better twist for 'normal' 6.5 bullets. It was designed for max 127gr, (lead core), many 'standard' loads were orginally 93gr, and barrel twist was made accordingly (1:10). Seen targets shot with one (Sauer 200) using 130gr TSX's and the bullets were going through sideways at 100m. Seems severly overbore and you dont even get the advantage of being able to use 130gr+ bullets. Of course, put a 1:8 barrel on one and it would be nice, but similar performance is possible from cartridges with far more attainable brass! 6.5PRC or .264WM do the same thing.

In my humble opinion if you have three rifles and plan not to reload:
243 Win - Available ammo and great for varmint and small game
300Win Mag - Any thing far upto Eland
375H&h - Anything else upto and including Buff if you have a guy with a big gun standing behind you
