Bulk .223 ammo

Hi

Would like to know if anyone knows where I can buy bulk .223 ammo. My first .223 got approved recently. Waiting for card but would like to secure some rounds. Im in western cape.

Be prepared to be shocked with pricing when you do track some down.

Pretty much. Supply and demand. 7.62x51 was cheaper.

In the Western Cape sadly no stores believes in selling ammo in bulk at discounted prices unlike Gauteng!

Most Shops in JHB got Federal American Eagle .223 this last week
Stock Was apparently on its way down to CPT. Specifically heard Safari Outdoor CPT is getting any day now if not already

Price between R279 and R299 per 20 in JHB
So close to R15,000 per 1000 for plain .223
No bulk discounts yet

Currently JHB neither
Usual bulk places want more than others per pox

Riot pricing still in effect for 9mm and .223

Saw this week:
Winchester 9mm FMJ R599 per 100
Sig FMJ R325 for 50
S&B R299 per 50 one place and R280 per 100 another
Fiocchi on special at Safari for R279 usually R319
American Eagle on special at Safari R349 usually R379

No bulk specials

STV used to be R249 per 50 if you took 1,000 about 3 or so weeks ago
Sold out and awaiting new stock in month or 2 apparently

How I miss the days of those little brown cardboard box's 5.56 Ball - in purple ink, every one had a few and anyone could get a box or two for you.
