Yes, thats an interesting article.

I see that he was appointed by Zuma in around 2017 and yet, he is still in office.... Given the recent issues with all of the looting and the fact that the SAPS are totally and utterly unprepared, not where the trouble was, and had members who were poorly equipped (with ammo and equipment) etc, why is he still in office!????

Because 'cadre deployment' of which our president is a big fan. Said it somewhere else, George Fivaz was probably the last person who occupied that position who actually did anything useful.
