Hi everyone. Anyone know how i can get hold of provincial dfo? To find how far is my license?

Hi,you may call them on 012 353 6111 or alternatively just use the SAPS portal to see the progress online.

good day

i submitted my amnesty and re-application for licence on 31 January 2021
received an sms and reference number on 2 July 2021.
saps website say payment received and "in process"
wheres my app says "not processed yet"

can anyone please explain whats the process as i am already waiting six months.

my neighbour who did a renewal in December 2020 has the same response from both the website and app

Renewals dont show anything after "Payment received" other than Approved or Declined
Its not like with new licences

Not sure if amnesty is the same

If you only received the SMS and number on 2 July, then your process only started that day
They are still very much swamped with amnesty apps

Unfortunately many many that submitted in 2020 are still waiting

morning.
after numerous calls and visits to my DFO, i finally have an update. my application is now with provincial dfo.

baby steps but at least some progress
ps. only took 6 months for this step
