    Default Tac SHAC Tactical TV

Apologies if there's already a thread similar to this and if this is in the wrong category.

Paul talks about the amnesty firearms that are cropping up in criminal hands, GOSA's march on parliament handing over their demands, not just the rejection of proposed changes but also moving towards "License the person, Register the firearm".

FCA Amendment Bill Submission by Ricky Mann:

Ricky speaks to Lynette Oxley about his in-depth 137 page submission to the Secretary for Police Service in response to the Firearms Control Amendment Bill 2021. He looks at the statistics behind the bill, the Minister's justifications, why the Bill is inherently flawed, the six fundamental rights limited by the FCA 2021, and the data-related techniques that are commonly used by the anti-gun organisations and how these do not stand up to scrutiny.

    GOSA Chairman's Update:

Today Paul talks about several recent and current court cases which affect all firearm owners. Also the last two week's Portfolio Committee meetings and what this might mean for us.

A License is not a Card. Because your license gets approved by CFR. They send you a SMS about this. Or you can phone in to find this out. DFO can also see on system your License has been approved. The card then gets issued weeks after that. So by this wording alone by CFR a card is not a license. If it was your License could then only be approved on the day the card is printed. The card merely is physical proof of it. Without it a SAPS member next to road stopping you having to check on radio if you have a license. Also so a dealer does not have to phone in to check every time you want to buy ammunition.
