Ahh I remember those times well. Waiting for your competency. Dealing with DFO's that do not care. Checking the SAPS website once a day lol. Some say the process is good for character building. Either way, you will need to search deep within yourself to find patience friend.

I applied for additional comp for Carbine in early Feb. It was approved at the end of August.
My son has applied for his comp also at the beginning of Feb and its still not approved

Applied for the forced Comp renewal end of June and was approved 09 October 23.
