Dogs or baboons, same problem, a human created problem.
The dog problem is probably worse since 99% of the species are not suppose to exist, we created them, it’s just that humans have an unnatural emotional connection with dogs, baboons have a better case of natural existence, not dogs.

So we have a problem.

Unfortunately disciplining the humans is politically unpopular, so the problem has to be solved by teaching the baboons to fear humans again.

Ja well, there is one trait I value in humans more than any other, and that is logic, and it’s very rare.

What happened to the dog registrations they did back in the day?

We have six troops of baboons on the reserve. They are not "nice" in human terms, but they are not humans and to be honest, not all humans are nice. They can be very cruel, callous and destructive, kind off like humans. They can also be very caring, towards each other, and quite entertaining. They are, however, intelligent and they learn quickly, kinda like humans (well some humans).
When their acts of destruction and intimidation are met with deadly violence, they catch on quickly and reset their boundaries to suit the situation.
Like many humans, when they are not disciplined, they lose all respect and become a problem.
I have witnessed their behavior at Cape Point personally and it is a recipe for a tragedy.
