License App movement from Kwa-Zulu Natal to CFR?

Greetings, has anybody in Natal seen any movement on their new apps from provincial to CFR since beginning of July? I have an app sitting there since 26 June! Very frustrating!!!

Hi Aimpoint.

Got a few apps sitting there from 31-05-2021. Called in to enquire about the lack of movement. The gentleman told me that there is a backlog and there are only 2 people doing the work of 4.

Absolutely pathetic! I have also received 2 emails already. One blaming looting and one saying they are waiting for a directive from CFR to deliver apps. Bullshit. And only 2 people, we have 3 DFO’s working everyday in our poxy little town, how can they only have 2 at provincial??

Also have one at Provincial DFO since June. No movement at all!!!

Colonel Schoeman... Get his details, explain the problem. Extremely helpful, my app that was stuck there, he personally made sure it was sorted out, sent to CFR, and gave me regular updates.

One dfo from my area also back now said she was at seconded to kzn provincial to assist with backlog.

I have a renewal sitting in KZN since October.
My new license application was done 1 Feb and only went to CFR on the 05/05 and is only now in for consideration 16/09.

Problem is every dfo has a different story. My DFO said the apps are moving, they just not updating the system. Might explain why my one app went from attention at Prov dfo to Received at licensing section.
