Re: Beretta APX
APX owners! How's the guns running? A friend is interested in getting the centurion. Is it a good move? Does it eat everything? Pros and cons?

Re: Beretta APX
I have an APX compact since May this year. Very happy with it. EDC and conceals well with shorter grip. Can get 15 round mags that will make it the same size as the centurion
Round count still on the low side, without any failures so far. Rounds include S&B fmj and hp, factory reloads and some handloads.

Re: Beretta APX
Thanks for the input. Anyone has a higher round count?

Re: Beretta APX
I'm not exactly sure anymore of my specific round count on my APX Compact. Must be around 7 to 9k. It can't be over 10k.
I test a lot of bullets with a P07, Glock, APX, PX4, CX4. The APX seems to be the most sensitive to low pressure loads.
I can't say that I have not had malfunctions with it. Any pistol that I shoot, with the bullets that I test, will have a malfunction sometimes. Mostly due to low pressure.
Also, in my opinion, the APX handles higher pressure loads quite well. Cases don't fall everywhere, but is normally scattered in a smallish group.
For carry it is hard to choose between the PX4 and the APX. Both shoot well and carry well.
