    Default .452 bullets

    Good day everybody
I would like know where I could purchase 452 cal bullets for my 454 Casull.
These bullets would primarily be used for range practise and not hunting.
Anything from 250grn and up would be perfect.
    Thank you
    Johan

Do you have any preferences as to the type of bullet- lead cast, CMJ, FMJ?

My guess is that regular lead cast bullets might be too soft?

    Gents
    Thank you
I have been shooting my own lead cast bullets with gaschecks.
The 4000 lyman gaschecks that I had is now at an end and I am struggling to find more. Sourcing the right lead is also becoming a pain, that is why I am looking at alternatives.
I have a few hundred Hornady bullets but feel bad wasting it as range fodder. Before a hunt I usually load up 20 or 30 ,practice ,check my zero, hunt and then back to cast bullets.
458 Express,do you by any chance know what the overall length of those bullets are seeing that I am reloading for a 454 revolver. Those bullets were made for the 460 S&W if I am not wrong.
Ds J if I could get cmj or fmj I would gladly give them go.
    Thank you
    Johan

A 250 grain FTX by Hornady is 0.959 - 0.960 in overall length with a bearing length of about 0.460 or so.

    This what I found online

I used the FTX in my 44 mag revolver and just used a utility knife to cut the flex tip off to fit in my cylinder. They shot excellent.
