    They are uncivilised.
Unless and until the motive for the attack is ascertained by a proper investigation, it would be foolish to blame the attacker's actions on the so-called "immigrant" issue. The veiled "swart gevaar" argument and your approach that all Somalians are "uncivilized" shows bias and stereo-typing.

Attacks on MPs is not unique to the UK.

Even though this incident seems to be an isolated act of crime which are harder to prevent than premeditated group efforts, the police will have more tools at their hands with their further investigation when the incident is labeled 'terrorism'.

Correct. The word terrorism is only used to define a certain segment of the world. If the same atrocities are perpetrated by other segments , it becomes "liberation" or "in defence of democracy". Double standards.

Besides the police investigation, a successful prosecution of the matter will be needed.

Political correctness makes it impossible to evaluate and respond to contentious issues in a rational and effective way. If topics are off limits they cant be addressed, understood and dealt with.
