B20 is the above number correct?
I’ve tried it a few times and it doesn’t work.

My license was approved 07 September and I still don’t have a card.
My DFO keeps telling me to “check next week”

    Hi Woodsie

Yes it is correct. I used it last week. You just have to try a few times cos sometimes they don't answer. But you should immediately get the voice prompts at least, and select option 2 (firearm related queries). Then wait. If you wait for longer than 10 minutes, I would hang-up and try again at another time of day. I called around mid-afternoon and they answered after 6 minutes.

Once its is printed, and they can tell on the system what day it was printed, then you need to find out from the DFO when last they went to collect the cards.

    100%

My DFO is very unhelpful and always very busy, so i found it is just easier to call the call centre when I have some time, like when I am driving or if i'm working but not on other calls. But if you have a responsive DFO - that would be first prize.

His number is answered within 3 to 4 rings. The only number I know in the SAPS that is constant answered quick. May be I am just lucky.

Hopefully, I can assist someone, but I was at Sandton DFO on Friday afternoon as they received about 100-ish cards on Thursday.

My card was printed on the 8 or 10th of October (can't remember the exact date) and it was in this pile.

Not sure if they've phoned anyone yet, but they were happy for me to go through the box.
