CRKT Hammond
I have just taken delivery on my new CRKT Hammond knife. I look forward to playing and adjusting a bit tonight. A really nice piece of equipment.
The sheath is also amazing, giving you so many option for wearing. You can mount it vertically, angled, horizontally and handle down. It can be clipped onto a belt or belt threaded. These mounts can be removed, so that you can thread straps for leg mounting.
It was purpose bought mainly for water sport and river rafting, where cut away rescues may be necessary. The last thing you want is a razor sharp point cutting close to your body when being buffeted by water.
It will probably make a nasty wound if required. However, I have other knives for that.

Re: CRKT Hammond
I have one of these given to me by a good friend and love it! I am going to buy one or two more for gifts this Christmas...great idea, great blade, very good price for what you get.

Re: CRKT Hammond
The only other blunt tip knife I could find was by Kershaw. Also a good blade, but I preferred this one.
