I've been a member on gunsite for a while but not too much of a regular visitor but that's about to change . I live in Randburg area and I am a fairly new gun owner. I was lucky enough to get my firearm licenses just before the recent spade of CFR/GPW issues and I am also a member of GOSA and Natshoot.

My aim is to get into sport shooting, particularly 3 gun which to me looks like awesome fun but there are so many activities to choose from. I have also started to reload and have actually shot my first batch of 9mm and next up will be my first load for my AR. So far I have learned amazing new things related to firearms and I must admit I am enjoying the hell out of it all.

I’m in Roodepoort, awaiting my competencies for SLR & Shotgun to get into 3GN as well. Currently I participate in IPSC with Tac-Shac at Cecil Payne (JMPD) shooting range. Anyways welcome.

Greetings again, I wouldn't say it's positive, for waiting 336 calendar days now.

But it's at CONSIDERATION now since 13/04/2022 so it should be approved in a week or two from now, hopefully.

I've purchased a STOEGER M3K semi-auto Shotgun and about to purchase a S&W 15-22 SLR so as soon as my competency is approved I'm submitting both license applications.

How is your applications coming along and which firearms are you considering for the 3GN.
