I could be wrong with the age, he looks to be youngish but has a decently proportioned large framed body.

@ Fire-stick. Yes, not a really old bull but a good bull in his prime. The horns are actually quite a bit longer than they look in this photo. To judge a waterbuck for horn length you need to see the horns from the side.
