Hi gents.
I'm just about to do a payment for a firearm i bought on gunafrica gentleman says that he doesn't officially have a gunshop but does firearms as a side line business. He sent me an invoice and all looks neat. Says that he runs firearmsa.co.za.
Have anyone else dealt with him before. Should i go ahead with making the payment?

I'm a bit dubious to be honest. There are zero firearms for sale on the website. That for me is a red flag.

So then surely he will be a dealer registered with SAPS to sell firearms.

So ask for dealerscode or dealership papers.

Then you can verify with cfr on 012 353-6111

Or you can ask for serial number on firearm. And also call CFR to confirm owners name.

Firearm serial number, verify owner with DFO.

Personally, I would not go through in this manner, I need to see the gun and know were its being stored while I wait.

Ive done the payment. Got a mossberg 500. Paid 4500 after negotiating.
