So far its been gone for 8 weeks, as it needed to be shipped to Austria. R1800 on postage so far, and that's without them working on it/fixing it.
I am hoping it is something quick and easy to repair as I cannot hunt without them.

Will let you know once I actually get feedback from them.
3 months down the line and zero feedback or ETA.
I have just emailed the MD of Whylo, but don't expect an answer. Looks like I will have to buy a new pair of binoculars to hunt with as Swarovski/Kahles/Whylo doesn't offer decent aftersales service

Whylo only became agents for KHALES a few months back, before that it was powderkeg. Give them a chance, they normally excellent to deal with.

Funny enough, the MD has responded.
They are closed until the 10th,but he has promised to follow up as soon as they open, and he reckons they might even be enroute back to SA.

    Let's see....

Am I the only idiot checking my mail occasionally when on leave? If my work goes poof or we loose my client, then I sit without work, so I rather check for urgent mails or problems which I can fix over the phone or cancel my leave or cut it short. The saying is: If you want loyalty, get a dog (hmm am I a bit of a dog?)

    Surprise surprise.
A brand new set of Bino's was delivered to the local Gunshop today for me. Only cost me just under 3k in shipping and handling fees.
Very happy with that and how Kahles/Whylo handled it. A little more Communication and it would have been perfect
