    Awesome photo. These birds blow me away. The way they can kill some of the most deadly snakes in such a graceful manner is almost surreal. Saw a chap caught in one of the fences on our neighbours place once, was very sad as they mate for life.

    Seen a few pairs in the Kalahari recently. Also seen a pair in Somerset west close to Rheinmetal plant in 2018.

    They are indeed majestic birds. I was a nipper when I witnessed one taking on a cobra, not sure what species, but since that day they have instilled some respect in me for them.
