Default China eyes Equatorial Guinea for naval base

“The WSJ report features satellite imagery and statements of US officials strongly suggesting the Chinese have an eye on Bata in particular, the country's largest mainland city, on the coast. The report describes that this location "already has a Chinese-built deep-water commercial port on the Gulf of Guinea, and excellent highways link the city to Gabon and the interior of Central Africa."”

China is overtly preparing for a war and the developed world responds with mollycoddling words.

Full-scale US navy ship outlines seen in a Chinese desert, used for bombing runs
    Hypersonic IBMs
Military power-plays regarding their claim to Taiwan

And the world sits and watches while fretting about the dangers to the world’s population because of the new variant.

Maybe they are all hoping China won't take it that far.

    As do I.

But hope is a pretty poor strategy.

I wonder where our country is/will be standing, being member of BRICS and being "fully in bed with China"?
May you live in interesting times - we surely do.

I'm sure there is more going on behind the scenes than what we are aware of. I know for a fact Taiwan is gearing up like crazy. British, French and American war ships are patrolling the Taiwan strait etc.

    Complete and utter rubbish.

Before getting all worked up, get worked up over the 144 wars America has already been involved in. Remember those color revolutions where America had to liberate Europeans with cruise missiles ? Those were wars too.

Maybe get a little worked up over the next few little wars Uncle Sam is busy eyeing, so people can be free, but not from the COVID tyranny being forced on everyone by unregulated capitalism running amok, treating the general world population like guinea pigs for profit.

Before spewing what you absorbed on CNN et al, go into Africa, and see the upliftment of society by infrastructure projects that are not financed by the world bank with crippling interest for generations.

Then pause to consider one very small little detail - ask yourself where and when in the world did China ever deploy their military for economic benefit to Chinese corporates ?

China is not the mentally retarded child of the world armed with nuclear weapons.

Shucks... Guess you woke up on the wrong side of the bed... Had that on your mind for a while eh'?

Who got worked up? Who said America does not have blood on their hands? This thread is about China, not whether the US ever started wars or not.

And are you saying China is not preparing for war? This whole shit show hinges around Taiwan, a country they have openly threatened to invade. So yes, they are preparing for war, it's a fact.

By definition, every country that maintains a standing army, is preparing for war.

Why single out that one ?

Because it's the topic at hand and China threatened to invade Taiwan while countries like the US, Australia, Japan, Britain etc said they would back Taiwan, that's why. It could lead to a global war if China makes that move.

You could start a new thread about the US and single them out if you like...
