Must have a seriously large safe for those boxes.

They are small lunchbox sized and very nearly parallel sided so pack well when alternated in orientation. I buy rifle safes when well priced ones come up so keep up with my storage needs by adding as and when required. Filling up a 3 or 5 rifle safe with reloaded shells at 10% of my production rate takes a long time so I'm keeping up ok.

Oafpatroll, thanks for this info. Now I know that it is not only me in this world who cannot walk by a used safe for a good price. I have 2 currently standing under the carport that has a planned use, in the future.

I have 11, all bought at good price to maybe make a few Rand on.
All kept because I might need them later.

Aah right, one can never have enough safe space or safes. My place is so small I have no space for another safe unfortunately.

I’m thinking of building one of those concrete safes that doubles as a windowless house. You know, a live-in safe. I’ll use a see-through scope mount for the bathroom door handle.
It doesn’t seem that long ago when we didn’t need to lock our guns up in our own house.

In SA lockup of guns and ammo is a legal requirement. If it weren't for that I wouldn't bother storing ammo, and especially bulky shotgun ammo, in a safe.
