How to change self defense gun

Need some guidance please. I have a Glock licensed as a self defense gun for a while. The license is still valid. I recently purchased a new gun and would like to license it as my self defense gun and move my current self defense gun to a dedicated license. Any ideas?

Dont complicated things and just license the new FA as a Sec 16 . You are keeping both Anyway.

Book the current one into a trustworty dealer's books, then apply for a new S.13 license as well as another S15 or S16 license.

Which Glocks are they?

I recently tried moving my S13 gun over to S17 while renewing it. App reached provincial where it was sent back because "You cannot change a S13. You can do it between S15, S16, just not S13"
Had to redo all paperwork for a S13 renewal.

I am in Brits, North West.

All my firearms are S16.

S14 and S15 no thanks after joining NHSA couple years back.

Why complicate things.

Agree this is the correct and fastest way if you want to change the licenses. Just remember -=zv=- you will be without a FA for a long period, including your current S13 one... Therefore it may just be better to apply for S16 on new one and leave all as is.

Keep as is, license new under section 15 or even better section 16.

It is very legal to carry your section 15 or 16 firearm for self defense

(and even if it was illegal due to a technicality, the murderous rapist scum who invades your home in groups doesnt give a flying bowl of fucks under which section your gun is licensed)

So I spoke to the gentleman from Natshoot earlier. No straightforward answer. But like mentioned above, not straight forward to swop a firearm.
