Re: Ear protection dilemma
Thanks for all the replies.
I dont really want to spend the voucher on something else at the moment, january already had 96 days. Was thinking of replacing my previous set anyway, so effectively I have a 50% discount on the peltor or almost settles the howard leight which i liked a lot
If I cant swing the voucher i will probably look at the walker razors again.

Re: Ear protection dilemma
The Walker Razors look pretty decent to me. A friend has 2 of them, but they are still new, so not much that could have gone wrong so far. Not sure if S&O stocks them, but Walker does make gel pads. I would take them.
Also have a look at Walker's own website and on Amazon.com . You can probably import them through Amazon for about half of what they cost here, depending off course on shipping cost.
Choices, choices...
Let's go Sarel !!!

Re: Ear protection dilemma
I have Walker Razors. They are ok , but I have the non-gel cups (I think they are foam), which get a bit uncomfortable after a while. They are good with a shotgun but I find when shooting my rifle off a bench, my right ear sometimes gets a air-gap, which defeats the purpose.
If you are going to use with rifle, check how they fit, when you are in the aim. Scrunching down on the stock, see if the cup clears the stock
