Re: What optic are you running on your AR and why?
I had a Burris AR332 on my old AR, and planning on getting another for my new AR.
It just works for me. Quick to pick up the reticle, and works well at range for my needsA roaring Lion kills no game

Re: What optic are you running on your AR and why?
I am going to fit a Vector optics 1-6x24 with a HS407CO on a offset mount.
Its what I have for now.
Would like a better 1-8 magnifications strike eagle but that will have ro wait.

Re: What optic are you running on your AR and why?
Am running a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x25 on my AR and love it.
Still looking for a good 45* mount to add a Holosun RDS onto it for close up shooting (with IPSC shoots).
Any recommendations on which 45* mount to get, from where and approx price?
TIA

Vortex Spitfire 1x prism red dot on a 14.5 shorty AR. Good for 0-200 meters or for longer distances Spitfire 3x that has a 5.56 marked reticle.
I usually leave the 3x on the G3 the 5.56 subtensions work fine for 7.62. They are a little off but its not a target rifle.
Both of these have endured lots of hard use over the last few years and have worked flawlessly.

Re: What optic are you running on your AR and why?
I setup mine with a vortex red dot. Bulk of my shooting I do is inside of 50m. I then saw a post by Kyle defoor on his 11.5” general purpose carbine, where he had a red dot with a 3x magnifier and gets hits out to 300m with ease on a B8 target. I recently got myself a magnifier setup, and have taken it to 200m On the round steel plate, still need to get to a longer range.

Re: What optic are you running on your AR and why?
Vortex razor gen 2 1-6 with a vmr2 mrad on the mk12 and a T2 on the 16 inch. Both work great for the type of shooting the rifles do. Thinking of switching the razor to a NF nx8 2.5-20 just cannot find one in mrad f1 with the mil xt reticle.
