    Default BUSHVELDT PLATE CARRIER

    Hi all

I am looking for a plate carrier and came across this one offered by QM.
They look solid, any experience with these?
    Any alternatives / proposals?

    Since you asked:

We have a warranty of 1 year replace or refund if product fails due to fair wear and tear.

We had a Bushveldt Plate Carrier brought to us for repairs. The Bungee retention for Mag Pouch had worn out. We got that sorted. It was 5 years old.

Occasionally some stitching is not what it should be. In all cases we get the product sorted.

We have shipped to Dusty Country up North as well as Central Africa and to date no reports of failures.

Fair Disclosure: I run TheQuarterMaster and Bushveldt™ is one of our brands :-)

From the horses mouth :) Thanks for the input

They do look solid and I prefer the canvas more.

Have a Condor chest rig and it tends to make "wolletjies" at the wear points, not to bad, but have had a buckle fail on it so not dependable as I would have hoped.

Condor is a good brand or Bushveldt™ is better :-)

Canvas is way better for long term wear and tear. As long as stitching is done properly I cannot see why there should be a problem.

Contact me on camo@thequartermaster.co.za and I can assist you directly.

You always have to give praise to where it is due - and damn you guys deserve it!

Got the order the next day after placing it online ,with a personal follow up, now that is service!

The vest is solid - same thick canvas material as my old army tent, you can see its build for running through Sekelbos. Great build quality and fits like a glove. Good product and I am very happy and would recommend to all.
