Re: High standard model 10B value?
There's one on the next Classic Arms auction. One of those with the Armson sight fitted must have been ther very height of tacticool back then. @ Wild coast, is this your mate's?

12ga Hi Standard Mod10B Police Shotgun R 9500.00 (estimate)
A unique s/auto bullpup design that was produced in limited quantities, the design of
the mode l10B served as the inspiration for the "Jumbo" combat shotgun which Joe
Hale attempted to produce in South Africa. Semi-auto action, 18" barrel, folding
carrying handle, Armson red dot sight. Very good condition. In custom made carrying
case.

Thought it must have been. Hell of a coincidence otherwise.

Yes I'm very keen to see what it fetches. Maybe he is lucky and two wealthy rival collectors get into a bidding war after having too much cognac?

The dream of every lot owner in an auction! Cant help wondering if putting the Armson on ebay for sale to someone in the states wouldn't have been a good idea.

Okay so that lot does not belong to my friend. The Armson red dot gave it away.
