Firearm Training in Gauteng

Hi

Does anyone know if there is any reputable training in Gauteng offered. I am looking at Self Defense, basic to intermediate shooting or anti hijack courses.

The problem is I don't have a firearm as my competency application is still in the process with SAPS. It's been in the process for a very long time so I am trying to be proactive and do some sort of training in the mean time.

I am open to any suggestions as well.

Adrian Rosslee at the Magnum range and Arno Barlow both provide top notch SD training, the basics are what you need to focus on and not to worry about heavy tactical ninja stuff. In the interim you can get geared up by doing a first aid course, something like Stop the Bleed. Practice situational awareness - most stuff can be avoided, practice combative, something like jujitsu or boxing or wrestling. When you get your gun go see the anyone of the above. While you were waiting for your stuff to come through carry a knife and pepper spray.

Big T is doing a fundamentals course at Magnum shooting range on 26 March i think.

On recommendation from members here i trained with T previously and I am glad I did and better for it.

Also trained with Adrian and he is fantastic also.
