Re: incorrect firearm captured on SAPS13
You need to clarify.
Is your firearm serial no the same as the serial no at the SAP13 store register?
If so then they need to match the serial no with a FA that is in the SAP13 store. If it’s a case of them making a mistake when booking the other gun in, it needs to be rectified at station level.
Remember each FA is tied to a docket and CFR does not have control over items at station level.
When your DFO does a search on your serial no does anything come up?
Usually if there is a # at the beginning of the line it means there are more information pertaining to that FA like for instance a stolen and recovered/returned to owner status that is accessed on a different screen.

Re: incorrect firearm captured on SAPS13
The firearm is completely different by make, colour and serial number to the docket that is linked to the saps13 reference number.
The investigating officer confirmed that he does not no how that incorrect firearm got captured as firearm recovered as it not the firearm that is implicated as per his docket.
I'm not sure if he is newly promoted as he does not know how to fix this mistake. Please advise on the way forward
