You could also give it to a collector?

this could also work! From what I can tell the ammo is from the 90s.
    Would any collectors be interested?

If you haven't got someone lined up to hand that ammo over to soon I'd recommend that you pull the bullets, toss the propellant and pop some oil in the cases to deactivate the primers. The downside to getting caught with ammo, however unlikely that may be, is substantial.

I’m sure there are collectors who would be interested.

It can be anyone with a license for the calibre and able to take over the ammo.

It doesn't necessarily need to be a collector.
The ammo will be good to go with any training session.
It may be old but will still go bang.
    SD carry not advised though.

Get rid of it out of your hands ASAP and into someone's with a license and able to take legal possession.

Your competency training should have given you the insight that it isn't a good idea to have around.
I understand that it was found between you late father's goods
(my heartfelt thoughts with you and personally know the headache and heartache of tidying up or clearing loose ends)
but you need to deal with it promptly.

If need be, go chat with your local or closest range and swop it for a range session or 3.
Issue at hand and not worth the headache is "illegal possession" in your hands.

    Good to hear BB13

Take a deep breath and sigh a breath of relief.
