Martin Hood Motivations and Letters post 90 day period
Hi all,
Hope everyone is well?
Has anyone used Martin Hood for putting together your license application?
If yes,
- Do you need it helped in moving it along?
- Anyone got them to issue a legal letter to SAPS for licenses not completed within the 90 days? And what was the outcome?
The thread is not around the cost of doing this, rather have you used the service and do you think it helped in anyway with your license application being processed in a reasonable time frame?

Remember its Working days not calendar days.
Note also that they while back moved the 90 Working Days to 120 Working days.

@Bundu Ric,
Greetings check out their/ his private Facebook group, here's the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/mjhood/?ref=share
I'm speaking under correction, but what I've briefly seen on that group is that it seems to make a difference, however the exact same could be said for GOSA Law here's the link to their private group https://www.facebook.com/groups/gunownerssa/?ref=share

Re: Martin Hood Motivations and Letters post 90 day period
Based on the FB comments and the feedback from MH on the process there seems to be some benefit in using them, they will also issue a letter of demand to SAPS post the 90 day period regarding potential legal action if not dealt according to the timelines.
All of this comes at a cost, but, waiting 12+ months for a license is also not fun anymore.

Things are truly broken when you need to get a lawyer to help along an administrative paper shuffling circle jerk for which you pay an up front fee. Well don to the fool in the hat and his minions. World class.

Re: Martin Hood Motivations and Letters post 90 day period
I did this with my 416Rem.
After 90 working days lapsed, Martin’s Assistant sent the Letter of Demand and voila, 12 working days later license was approved. Went straight from received at CFR to License Approved.
License card took two months to arrive at my DFO.
Definitely worth the money.
