    Default Glock 17

Yes, it has happened: the Ultimatestest Bok Ever has found himself a G17 and will be the owner of it soon...

Looks like Gen 1, very clean & neat for a good price... 8)

Congrats has it got a pebble texture on the frame or grenade style checkering?

Straight front strap, cannot recall the checkering now. Will look this afternoon during visiting hours... ;D

If it has a pebble texture its a gen one. With the checkering gen two.

    I have a Gen1 - got it in '87.

    Congrats.

See pic below = Gen1. If yours is a Gen1 the original mags will not be fully metal lined mags and therefor they will not be dropping freely from the pistol especially with rounds in the mag. Get new Gen mags asap.

    Correction:

It's a Gen II with metal lined mags.

Great buy. I prefer the gen 2 frame to the gen 3.
