Mp 15/22 optic advice
Hey everyone.
Did search for this but couldn’t seem to find anything. I just purchased a mp15/22 for some plinking on a mates farm and have been doing some research on optics for it. The more I look the more confused I get. What would you guys suggest? Budget is 5k.
Thanks

The Hawke range has a very nice scope graded for HV ammo. Great for plinking and fun and looking at 2300ish. Leaves you change for mounts etc.

It’s also very light so won’t upset the balance of the rifle. I have one on my 10/22, and with the graded reticle it really makes shooting at distance a breeze.

Re: Mp 15/22 optic advice
Ive put the Hawke Red Dot on my PC9 and its brilliant.
Have Hawke Scope on my PCP HW100 and also brilliant on it.
Hawke makes some good stuff for the price.
Actually also have the Hawke 900 Rangefinder.

Re: Mp 15/22 optic advice
Bushnell TRS25 :-)
It used to be the Gold Standard for 15-22 optics not too long ago.
I haven't looked at prices lately but good chance you'll find it within your budget.
The TRS25 was replaced by the TRS26; I don't think I've ever seen the 26 in SA.

Re: Mp 15/22 optic advice
Perhaps have a look for a second hand scope. You might pick up a much better spec scope for your budget, than buying a new scope with fewer features.
You also want a scope with a big front lens. The bigger the front, the more light gets into the scope and the better your view.

Re: Mp 15/22 optic advice
More importantly. Dont buy anything that will look out of place on the 15/22. And make it look like a scope with a 15/22 attached to it.
