    Default Truvelo TM series AR

Has anyone had hands on with the Truvelo TM 545 (or 300) series of rifles yet? I see they have a 14.5 model with low profile gas block and a few shorter options.

For the .300BLK I asked 3 different dealers to check pricing and they all came back around the 27k mark. Could be a way to see which dealers overcharge

I saw them on Gun SA.

    12" 556 FSGB R 20 995
    14.5" 556 LPGB R 20 995
    9" 556 LPGB R 20 995
    12" 300 LPGB R 23 695

Saiga 5.56 AKs are going for around R20k new, this is quite a deal if they are reliable shooters. I wouldn't mind a 300 Blk

I've never handled a shit Truvelo product so my hope are high for these. The toy budget is being reconfigured to allow for a 300BLK before the end of the year.

Only handled one in the store, for and finish was really good. I think they will sell well at the current pricing.

    Hi
I see the truvelo's come keymod over m-lok.
My deciding factor is currently the difficulty in sourcing keymod fittings.
Did you happen to put thought into this before you bought? And know of a decent place to get some keymod accessories to be able to mount a light or sling et?

I would be interested to know the origin of those rails. I bet they got them at a good price from a US manufacturer that switched to M-lok production to satisfy current US market trends.

Nothing wrong with key mod in my opinion. All much of a muchness.
