Then someone shot a concrete column with the 50 cal and they didn't have shooting ranges the next year... and it was downhill from there...The last year GOSA attended we spent the whole time staring at the guys opposite us selling wooden watches and kitchen utensils, shaking our heads.
That was probably one of the better Huntex to attend. The demo shoots for sadpa as well were awesome. Back then we gave it a time line as to how long it will last after that.We were very wrong. Seems like the biltong, camo guys etc and lifestyle products are still keeping it going.

Not the old same old stuff thats in the shop.I dont expect Hornady or Dillon as example to fly someone over with new stuff. But surely they can send new stuff to showcase to the local main importer.
Absolutely. And it was like that. Remember the days Safari had half a hall, DSG was there , Zimbi, Wildman. You could literally go and shop for a handgun, or reloading equipment etc at the halls, compare the different scopes in one venue.

Business people who remain in business for any length of time aren't idiots. If the likes of S&O, who spend shit tons on marketing, don't see value in attending then there probably isn't any.

They run the same specials, during the same weekend, at the shops, no need to hire additional staff, no exorbitant stall fees, no transport costs. Makes sense. Many of the smaller shops still see value in attending.

I want to see lots of local knives, 10 metric ton of second hand firearms parts, new and interesting firearm and camping stuff, bows and crossbows and a few ammo and firearm specials.
And last but not least, the R200 ticket must include potjiekos.

LOL. Not going to Huntex is actually then like having a R200 Voucher at any shop.
