I agree. I had my first braai on rooibos in the northern Kruger region. Our fishing guide was a horticulturist and swore by the stuff. We went out and searched each day. It was a 10pm dinner, but really good smokey flavour.
The only problem is that it is quite difficult to get hold of in the city.
