Current Winchester 1000 round packs of 223 at Camdix is Lake City brass, so top quality. (not Winchester brass)
Look for the big batch number on the case starting with WLC......... for Lake City brass.
Bunker Arms had the same LC Winchester for R12,999, but may be sold out as they had limited stock.

Tactical HQ mainly has steel case Barnaul or a few Winchester for R14,999

Winchester has been good to me so far, WCC head stamp with no issues. S&B's are going for around R14 a pop , S&O had Hornady Frontiers for R16 a round so goodluck!
I bought 1000 Barnaul rounds for just under R8k which works out to R7.90 a round, they are not reloadable cases. Considering it costs me about R6 to reload .223 I thought it was a good price!

Seems reasonable, not sure why I didn't think of this before.

Some will, some won’t. Guns and Bows refused to do this for me a couple years ago… and by the time I got my card all the lovely shiny Hornady ammo was gone :(

Yeah I hear you. Won't hurt to ask I guess. My Rifle is Dealer stocked with Ihawu so let's hope.

The Cape is always dam expensive it seems

    In Gauteng per round:

    Winchester R13,10
    S&B R11,50
    Barnaul Steel case R7,95

I picked up some Winchester at Wildman Centurion at R14/round. But got about R700 worth of "Moola". The case are stamped L.C. so lake city brass.
