Re: 405 Winchester
Unfortunately not.
A friend used to own a Winchester 1895 in 405W. Very nice.

Re: 405 Winchester
That was US president Theodore Roosevelts favorite rifle.

I read his book about his safari to Africa named African Game Trails Theodore Roosevelt

Re: 405 Winchester
its posts like this that make me miserable - always wanted a 300 Savage, now I want a 405 Winchester, but first I must fill the 358 need. Still want a 9.3, but wonder should I first fix the 220 swift dream.
To top it all off I have started selling of stuff, just too much "stuff", actions and bullets and and and.......................
Then I see this 405 post and wonder, perhaps I should not have sold that K98 action today, but hey 5 K for a stock and action ????
Now I need to buy a stock and action if I want to build anything.
Vicious circle this obsession is.
