I get what you are saying and I agree with you, but people live on credit. Don't let a fancy car or house give you the impression that someone is rich. They can barely afford the repayment to the bank.

I would wager that you in your old age are better off than most of those people.

I think we're all aware of that, Ady. The R5000 I offered is less than most of them spend every month hiring cars they'll never own. I drive a 2006 Diahatsu Sirion which I bought four years ago with 67000 on the clock for R54000 and which has served me well without trouble. It's a matter of priorities isn't it?
