Evening fellow Gun lovers and alike...

I have received numerous essential documentation and help on this Forum and will be forever grateful.


I want to ask for input and real world advise on how long i can expect to wait for my license card i am not expecting 2 or 3 weeks but i would like and estimate how long before i can start follow up on it.

I think im just so deflated the proces has taken me just under 380 days and counting and my spirt is broken a bit.

Seems it depends greatly from province to province.
I have seen people get their license cards in two weeks after it's approved. (Limpopo)
I am currently waiting just over a month for mine (North West). Still have not received it yet.

I received 2 cards this year, 1 was a sec13 renewal - approval to card collection 37 work days (collection 28/07/2022) and the other was a new sec16 slr application - approval to card collection 55 work days (collected 24/05/2022).
Sec16 was during the non renewal of GPW contract period. I am in JHB Provincial area.
