Default Firearm Policy Campaign (FPC) new Firearm “lobby” group

So I was recently invited to this NEW group on Facebook.

    Firearm Policy Campaign (FPC)

    https://twitter.com/FirearmPolicy?s=...Y7fjpHo3YZwwDA

    https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086423772401

The Directors are: Tshepi Mmekwa, Antionette Gordon, Johnathan Wright and Zaahir Manuel.

According to the Directors; "they are going for the jugular" and "they want to get rid of the FCA entirely", just to mention a couple.

    Thoughts ???

So this is GOSA 2.0 with a different name.

And will we benefit from this spin off or will we as gun owners now again become the joke with these entities competing against each other?

Not even remotely GOSA. Maybe the butt hurt Facefop members could join there?

Replace it with what and how exactly do they aim to achieve this?

This is the no-friends-of-Paul club. I publicly wished them all the best. I am on record stating that we need more organisations pushing from different directions, not less.

This makes sense, the only concern and might not be valid, just my assumption, is that people will put their money with the one or the other as times are tough.

Now they fight the same battle, but if that battle is a R1m legal bill and both organisations only have R500k due to the split of people going to the one and not the other, we might not gain any wins?

I guess we'll double-cross that bridge if we ever get to it.

For the foreseeable future there is only one organisation in court fighting for firearm owner rights.

    Indeed.

If you have someone to the far left of where you want to be, you also need someone to the far right of where you want to be. So that you can be "moderate".

GOSA used to be the far one side with of course ANC and the useful idiots being far the other side, SAGA maybe in the middle.

These days we are defining the middle. So we need something way out there to balance the useful idiots.

I wonder if Peter Moss is still around.

The Facebook group is a few days old, it's best to go read through the group, to see if there could be any answers to "how" they would achieve it.
